System Type: Standing Seam Metal
The Easter Seals Miracle League baseball field in Southfield is the first baseball field for children with physical or cognitive disabilities. The field was first established in 2004 and is constructed of a special cushioned synthetic turf that accommodates wheelchairs and other walking assistance devices.
In 2016, a 1,400 s.f. concession building was added that includes two ADA compliant bathrooms and a wheelchair accessible locker room for the players. Bruttell Roofing partnered with Woods construction to install the standing seam metal portion of the roof. The panels are made of painted and Kynar coated 24gauge steel that was custom formed in Bruttell Roofing’s sheet metal shop. The panels are installed over a high-density polyisocyanurate insulation board. This is a very attractive and high-quality system that will serve the Miracle League well for many years. At Bruttell Roofing, we are proud to have been part of this project that supports such a wonderful cause
